Peter Milne and Stasha Gominak are the owners of Casa Tortuga. They first discovered the Mayan Riviera when they came to Soliman Bay on their Honeymoon. They fell in love with the bay, the beaches of Tulum, the snorkeling and the tortugas!
They live in Tyler, Texas. Peter Milne is the managing Partner of Tyler Tax Law andStasha Gominak is an esteemed Neurologist for East Texas Medical Center. They try and maintain healthy Vitamin D levels by visiting Casa Tortuga as much as possible.
The Care Takers
Gabby and Luis have been the Caretakers of Casa Tortuga for over a decade. Luis is an excellent cook and enjoys preparing meals for Casa Tortuga’s guests. He also owns a Taxi and drives guests into town or to the airport in Cancun. Gabby offers laundry service for Casa Tortuga’s guests. They also have two children, Karen who is currently attending Culinary School and Adrien who is in high school.
Personal Travel Coordinator
Melissa Milne is the personal travel coordinator. She will help you build and design your dream vacation, from kiteboarding, dives, to a journey to the lost ruins of the Maya she will take care of everything. Working with the locals for nearly a decade combined with her expert knowledge of the Spanish language she is perfectly equipped to plan all activities for the guests of Casa Tortuga. She is a nurse and currently lives near Los Angeles, California with her son Nahaniel. When at Casa Tortuga they can be found building sand castles on the beach.
Marketing & Media
Pete and Stasha’s daughter, Megan takes care of all the bookings, and reservations and marketing. She also handles all press and media inquiries. Her husband Kim is a designer and maintains the website for Casa Tortuga. They live in Berlin, Germany and love travelling to the Mayan Riviera as frequently as possible. Like many couples, they too happily spent their honeymoon in paradise at Casa Tortuga.
Weddings
